The Samurai-man is safely home from camp, more or less intact. He's very tired. I'll try to persuade him to post a guest-author entry soon. I am buried under a mound of damp karate gis. My poor, poor washing machine. Got together with my teaching partner, Cher, yesterday. We planned out the first two weeks, then realized that we're on block scheduling this year! So, now we're set for the first 3-3 1/2 weeks! Yay! We're gonna do a really cool lesson that I got from my friend Tiff, involving Oreos. Anything that includes food is a big hit with 8th graders. Time for more laundry. I still have old papers to sort, as well. |
