My monkey-students never cease to amaze me. We read part of ONE scene of "Taming of the Shrew" out loud in class today, after I did my character intro/Act I synopsis routine. Just enough to get a feel for the whole Kate'n'Bianca dynamic (aggressive grrl w/temper vs. passive-aggressive manipulator) and now the monkeys are HOOKED. They want MORE Shakespeare! Wooohooo! The next two weeks might be funner than I thought! |
