Sleepy Mammal Boys
2003-08-15 1:19 p.m.

The male mammals in my house are asleep. The bipedal one got up early to go and lure ODU's incoming freshmen into Sensei's classes, assisted by a South American, a Serbian, and a grandma. Hey, our Chilean friend alone would get a lot of cute little girls interested. (Pretty eyes.)

The quadrupedal mammal waited until the Samurai left, and decided he was lonely. OOF, shoves the bedroom door open with his big ole head. OOF, flops head on mattress. Monkey-wookiee-Casey noises ensue. Fifteen seconds of silence, repeat noises. Continue until Woman is up. Prance joyfully!

Casey got a walk, a belly scratch, food, tail medicine, and now he and the Samurai are both blissfully dreaming. Both are grunting softly and paddling their little limbs about.

Me? I gotta go run errands. After that, I start digging out our guest room. The living room, dining room, and our room are done. Cleaned out, organized, de-crappified. Got our mattress bagged and all the underbed crap sorted and neatly boxed. Vacuumed EVERYTHING in there-mattress, box spring, under/around every bit of furniture. Death to the dustmites!

The guest room is a week-long job. Sigh.
