My latest beef: many of my students get DVDs of current theatrical films AS SOON AS they come out. Yes, their mommies and daddies are buying bootlegs. No, I haven't been able to convince the darlings that this is bad. I've tried, but these are the same little idjits who think it's okay for them to "write a research report" by scamming stuff from the Internet and whiting out the URL and author's name. Someday, one of my Educait entries is gonna turn up in the newspaper with one of my kids' names underneath.Little thieves!
