Sundae Skool

Went to a workshop for Sunday school teachers today. It was taught by a very sweet lady from western PA, who clearly didn't know much about our gentrifying-city-dwelling-urban-blight-fighting-hipster church. She was very nice. We were nice back. I think the venue baffled her--it was a gigantic old home on the water, built in the twenties, but not the norm for most of our congregants--and the faces were mostly young-ish white ladies. The ringer in the group was the Samurai, with his superhero shirt and that bearded mug plastered with a mischievous grin. He really can be devilish sometimes.

Gotta go to Le Mart du Wal and get some sweatpants what ain't got no holes in 'em. It's close to sweatpants weather around here, and mine get all covered in mastiff drool very quickly. Might find some cool Halloween stuff, too!
