Random stream-of-consciousness Educaitness today. Been watching lotsa movies this week. Caught "Velvet Goldmine" a few nights ago, during one of my rare fits of insomnia. Got to see Ewan McGregor full-frontal-snogging Christian Bale. Obi-wan shagging the American Psycho. Very odd. Watched "The Cider House Rules" last night. Been trying to catch some of Tobey Maguire's older work, as I'd never really taken much notice of him before Spidey.Very thought-provoking; kept me musing about the nature of truth and little white lies for a while.Gotta read the book now. I want to see "The Ice Storm" too. Don't remember much of it, except that I kept confusing Tobey and Elijah Wood. Are they separated-at-birth candidates or what? Today is the birthday of both Ian "Gandalf" McKellen and Frank "Yoda" Oz. Hmmm. Unusual this is. Ponder it, we must. Taught the 8th grade boogerheads how to sound Shakespearean this week. One of the things we do is "Yodafy" our sentences, to get te right meter.(Works maybe 80% of the time.) Fun we have been having! Goofy are they! Spent about twenty minutes Thursday night gazing at sleeping husband. He's so gorgeous he makes my heart constrict. Love the hubby, I do. No Sapphire Joust for us. We need a weekend of slothfulness.Y'all have fun! Today's Book: Ricky Ricotta's Giant Robot vs. the Mutant Mosquitoes From Mercury by (who else?) Bits and bobs
